Seeing as the Championship kicks off once again tomorrow and i think its going to be another cracking season, what about having peoples views/opinions and gossip in here
My Home town Club, Cardiff have signed a few new faces and managed to keep hold of the majority of players that got us to Wembeley last season. Think they're capable of the play-offs at least.
Last season was very close between a lot of teams and with the 3 sides that got relegated from the prem looking very strong it should be very exciting to see how things go.
Predictions - Very hard to call, but I think Reading and Ipswich will finish 1, 2 and then Derby to beat Wolves in the play-offs. Biggest disapointment will be Birmingham, despite the expensive signings and keeping hold of McFadden.

Never felt so depressed about a new season before.
My team (Watford) were terrible for most of last season, have sold all their best (or should that be better) players and have signed......nobody - well John Harley on a free.
Looks like we'll be relying on the kids this year as the squad is not strong at all.
Any injuries and my Gran's going to have to put her boots on!
Relegation struggle without a doubt.
Gutted already.

We have no money, our board are liers, who are either on the take, incompetent or both!My team (Watford) were terrible for most of last season, have sold all their best (or should that be better) players and have signed......nobody - well John Harley on a free.

I'm NOT a happy hornet!
Wish Cardiff had bought Kevin Phillips! I don't care how old he is, everyone knows his ability to score goals week in week out. He would've been a far better signing than either JFH or Fowler from last season!
Well done Doncaster on beating Derby yesterday, think the pressure's really on Jewell after the money spent and the way they went down last season.

support two teams in the Championship both couldnt be better, although they will probably both end up in a similar position!
Southampton = massive under achievers, very depressing to support, looks like another struggling season despite being a "big club" in this division. didnt play too bad yesterday though despite a loss to the OPs Cardiff
Doncaster = massive over achievers, very exciting to support, will do well to stay up and I think we will! went to see them play yesterday and worked VERY well as a team and ran rings round a sorry Derby. Will be fun to watch this year
I think it will be an exciting season with three exciting teams promoted and lots of big clubs in the league with Stoke and Hulls promotion. Also shows to the others almost anyone can go up!

I was at St Andrews on Saturday and Birmingham were solid at the back and toothless up front for the first 92 minutes. McFadden looked isolated and frustrated. Sheffield Utd's players are nearly all giants and Bham's inept tactics involved aimless long balls which were never going to work! A lucky 3 points, but if they play like that all season they will finish about 14th.Gaz

what a brilliant start to the season for sheffield wednesday, this time last year we'd just lost 4-1 and never looked like winning.
