Frank Griffon mishap
Discussion
Frank was putting in a run today at the first day of the Bulldog bash and got some shake, got wibbly, straightened up and stabbed the loud pedal again. Unfortunately the car span and then barrel rolled down the track. From an inverted position, Frank extracted himself immediately and was perfectly okay. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said for the car, which is finished. A real shame. Frank always loved his big burnouts and I guess a few will remember this one becoming a real wild ride to say the least:

According to Frank, he was going to hang his helmet up after this weekend anyway. I hope that we can take that with the huge pinch of salt that it deserves and look forward to him getting back out on track as soon as possible. He's such a wag and we need characters like him racing again.
Thanks to Jay of Orange Pop Racing for the call

I'm only half way through building mine and already know the extent of blood sweat and tears that go into building a car. I have yet to experience (directly) what goes into running a race car but can only begin to imagine the grief at losing that vehicle.
Having said that, it did it's job whe the time came and things went tits up- it kept it's driver safe and in one piece.
Glad he's ok but gutted about the car.
follow this link to see the crash....i really hope he does come back out, ive always loved this car
