3R ECU Model Number

Can anyone please advise as to which model mbe ecu I will have in my 2003 3R please? Is it same as M400? Thanks in advance gar.

I think its a 975 which as far as I know is bespoke to the Noble.

You have a 975b type MBE ECU, which is not the same as the 975d type MBE ECU as fitted to the M400s

Thanks for the info,is there anything I need to tell the guy mapping my car regarding this ecu or should i say do i need to buy a special program cd rom from mbe? Ps sorry for the dumb questions this is not my forte. Gar

That the ECU is locked.

You will need the unlock code.

Fundamentally, not a lot. There are some circuitry and driver changes and the memory for the RAM changed, but the software paths were identical for most of their life. There were a few other minor changes...
