Will Code For Forza Credits

My hard drive failed on my XBOX and after backing it up and restoring it to a new unit i've discovered Forza won't load my old profile, apparently the creators of the game don't like you backing up your data.

So i'm on the scrounge for some much needed credits..

Any help appreciated

I don't see why they would have anything against backing up your savings up?

And what exactly do you mean by won't load your profile?
Do you mean it can't find your savings?
If so, are you able to load data for any other games?

Dont think so.

The easiest way is for someone to buy a car you have put in the auction house at a buy it now price.

Or the OP could be gifted cars.

Be carefull with the "buy it now credit transfer" though.

The Forza auction house mods are extreme in their policing. If you list a rubbish car with an obviously inflated credit buy out and it gets bought quickly you could easily be facing an instant ban from the online side of the game. Basically this is the trick people use when they sell credits on ebay, apparently to get the credits they will ask you to list x amount of cars at the highest buyout possible amounting in total to the money you have bought, then they snap them all up "gifting" you the credits. Because of this well known trick the Turn10 guys monitor the auction house very closely for similar instances. If they find them the auction will be cancelled (loosing the owners the car) and both parties will be banned instantly from the auction house

Sounds silly I know but read the Forza forums, it does happen, frighteningly often in fact.

Best way of helping someone out is to just gift them a really good car that can either a)Win every race with ease or b)Is worth silly money to sell.

Turn10 actively patched the game ages ago to stop people backing up thier save games, the reason? If you "back up" your game you can actually duplicate cars easily. Do this and you can make Millions and Millions of credits in a matter of hours.
This problem destroyed the auction house (Unicorn cars at one point were selling for 200million+, try making that sort of money through legitimate racing).

Hell, I used to paint cars and at one point managed to sell 5 of the same design at 10million each, I don't for one minute think that was "clean" money, but It was worth the risk.

To beat this problem Turn10 turned off the back up option on the save game as it is now considering "tampering".

As much as I still love Forza2 I think Turn10 all too often use a sledgehammer rather than a nut cracker
