x5 resistor location pls help!

Got to put a new reosatat (fan speed resistor) in a 2001 x5 trouble is i cant find it!

Ive taken out the glovebox, side panels climate control panal and the radio to no avail so would be real helpful if someone could point me in the right direction as it may be right in front of my face.

On the E39, remove the side panel in the drivers footwell, get yourself upside down and poke your hand up inside the dashboard. It's very fiddly.

I suggest its probably in a similar place on the X5.

Thanks i found it there in the end after taken half the dashboard out!
