Getting a bit fed up of waiting for the factory spider/brake upgrade availability for my Griff 500.After a fair amount of trawling through old threads I'm going for Plan B.

This calls for 17" 7.5 wheels front and back with AP 4 pot/310 drilled dics on the front and 300 drilled discs on the back.(Can I get 7.5" on the front without spacers? - I've got PAS).

I've seen pics of Gerjo's car with it's 16" Front & 17" rear Technomagnesia Detroits and these look great.Has anybody fitted the Kahn RSRs and if so do you have a pic/comments before I make my final decision.

Peninsular will be doing the work

Hi I live in Plymouth and run 17" Kahn RSR's on a 95 Chimaera and they look great, I can't actually send an e picture due to an 'Office' based virus but this should clear soon. I until two weeks ago ran a free fit tyre based business for seven years so if you decide what you want then give me a shout I should be able to save you some money. You do have to be careful though I personally would go for 7" due to clearance availability etc. and also you might have to mess around with tyre profiles on the front due to the intrusion of the battery box on the near side inner arch as we found when we stuck a set of RSSs on my mates Chim. Also the offsets changed in 95 just to add to it !!!
If you want to have a look then give me shout!

16" F, 17" R, 320mm AP brake set up front and 345mm large disk conv. rear 15mm spacers needed on front with the BK Racing items to clear callipers, oh yeh, when ordering the callipers get teh TVR embossed ones and then file back the black coating to reveal TVR in polished alloy then laquer, it looks great (picy does'nt do it justice) ask Richard on looks, he knows the car.

Hi, I have added this pic that was taken at the last TVRCC Surrey meet, of a Chimaera with aftermarket wheels. I am not sure what type they are, but they look good.

I saw a set of the factory spiders on an 03 Chim at Hawthorns last weekend - first time I've seen them "in the flesh" and they actually looked *REALLY* good...
