Best Hard Drive Video Recorder.. ?
Discussion
I've been searching for a while for a good hard drive video recorder but i'm finding hard to actually narrow it down.
Wondered if anyone has had any personal experiences with them..
One touch operation would be a good feature on this occasion.
Hard drive size of anything 80GB or more is fine.
Don't need any fancy features but would like some kind of PC Connectivity via USB or Firewire or something..
Any help much appreciated
Dave.

Another vote for Humax.
Sky is ok if you watch loads of sport or films but I don't and got rid of it last year. Plus it costs an arm a leg and one of your b0ll0cks too!
I haven't looked back with Freeview and a Humax PRV9200T. It records 2 channels and allows you to watch a third. Rewind and play the one you're recording, too.
As good as or better than the Sky+ thing and I sold the Sky+ box for £70 on Ebay so it payed for the installation. Now I pay £0.00 for TV with loads of channels.
(except the licence GRRR...)

Humax 9200. End of.
another fan here - even the missus can use nearly all it's features so it really must be simple.please don't let her read this, please don't let her read this, please don't let her read this, please don't let her read this,

Agree..the 9200 is a cracking piece of kit. Slight downer is the length of time it takes for the EPG to load and I dont believe it has an HDMI interface as it doesnt contain a DVD player. Otherwise the twin tuners are a great feature [ if you really can find 2 programmes worth recording!]
