Went well, qualified 25th out of 40 remaining.

First race got up to 16th after dropping back to 30th at the start, but finished 20th due to a quick trip through the gravel and out the other side at Paddock Hill!! Had a great race swapping poistion 4 times with John Haynes who was driving his brother's 360, Mark Haynes runs the series, and we swapped some paintwork on a couple of occasions!

The second race was wet so a bit more steady an less excitment but got a few more places and ended up a creditable 17th.

The Cerb has become popular with the other teams as they want to race other cars apart from Ferari's and Porsches and the fact that we are now pushing up the field with another 30 bhp allowed in the new regs shows a great future for us in this series.

Cheers

Jonny

Hello Jonny

I was the Marshal & Lotus nut who came to see where your towhooks and cut offs were first thing, I was on Post 17 just before Dingle Dell all day.

It was great to see you out there mixing it up and keeping an eye on how you were getting on. The car looked superb and you were spitting a pair of flames just before Sheene.

I spotted this pic on another forum you might like from yesterday...

Nice one John, sorry I couldn't get out to show support. frown

I must say you car looks fantastic! As a racer goes it looks smooth and considered, looks as if the factory planned it that way, from the tow eye to the brake ducts. thumbup

So, when's it on TV?

Tim
