Looks like the Tuscan S is quite a bit quicker than your non S. The red Tuscan S looks more in line with that M5 in your other vid. Is your engine pushing it's full 360 bhp? I note you're a dyno tester so will probably know?

Don't base your assumptions on watching one run...

At last years event (over 3/4 mile) I was 0.2 seconds quicker than Mark.
We were both quicker than most of the Cerbs.
On the run in the vid, Mark got a better start, that was all he needed...
Plus I had all that heavy camera gear on-board

I haven't seen the official results for this years event yet, but I'm willing to bet there was a mere fag papers width between our best runs.

I'm sure my car has the full compliment of Blackpool ponies, as its' engine was rebuilt to S spec in 2004. Depending on the RR, it has anywhere between 355 and 390bhp.

The only real differences between our cars is his has a CR gearbox, and mine has had a decat.

I prefer blue though...

Can someone show me a picture of the 'Ford Granada' that came second?

I'm intrigued to know how one of these motors can beat the rest of the field?

When i think about a 'Ford Grananda' I always think of a big ole beast that isn't very quick and goes round corners like a cross channel ferry.

Amazing how it came second.
