Who wants to come racing?
Discussion
HI Everyone. I just spotted this and thought I would post it on here. Im on a mission to try to attract more people to the TVR championship. I am racing a Griff 500 for the first time this year and its a blast. The people are great and the racing isnt too lairy! Anyway I saw this griff chassis and body. If youve ever fancied racing your P&J this could be the step you need!

Accident damaged griff chassis and most of the body.....£950,
come along and join the fun..
(disclaimer) this car has nothing to do with me, simply trying to spread the word.

Needs a bit more than bandage and T-Cut.
Good luck with the racing though Owen.

Engine, Gearbox, Diff, drive shafts, Suspension, Steering rack shall I go on? Great idea but I think you need to start with all the bits to make it even half affordable. (Crash damaged with serviceable chassis and running gear)I would dearly love to race next year but the costs involved and the time out from work/family etc. make it a no go for me
. I am however looking at the TVRCC Sprint series with a possible outing at Castle Combe in October. Sprints and Timetrails are a more cost effective entry into competitive motorsport.
HI Bluebottle, I now realise it was you I met at CC and not LG. I also remember seeing the car at Cadwell earlier in the season.
You might be surprised about the cost to go racing. I know of class C cars that have been picked up, fettled and gone racing for sub 5 k, then sold on again for similar money when people upgrade. I was also offered a few arrive and drive packaged in various cars when I enquired on the dunlop tuscan challenge section of PH.
Its easy to get involved. I did my ARDS at Combe and was rasing within a couple of weeks.
Im on a mission to increase the grid sizes !!

Thanks LG.
Out of interest, was it you I met at combe last year on the porsche track day. I was in a blue Z4M
If that was a Z4M Coupe, I remember You well. I thought I was doing really well on my first time at CC to keep pace with Pete's GT3 aRSe but you absolutely blitzed the pair of us. One minute you were just ahead of us going into Avon Rise, by the time i was apexing Quary you were already into the chicane...damn you can pedal that eurobox fast!
