Grover,
The ones from Tildo and above have none standard exhausts, can't comment on the rest.
The NONE Griff is a 400 I believe - black with Tuscan front light conversion, Chris Jennings, C8CBJ
Mine was done before the competition started so mine's legit.
Its done at 4,000 revs. I think 0.5m 45 degrees sounds right but I'm sure Dave will clarify.

Just out if interest how far was the meter held from the exhaust exit ? The norm is 0.5M 45 degrees from the exit at 2/3 max revs. Presumably this was a little closer and revved for maximum effect.
From the ones I saw being tested that was how the test was done. There are some VERY loud cars about.
mmm, not quite sure how I could have gone down from 113.4 last year ?

Blimey, based on this years results I could just about have made it to most of the track days I've been missing all year

Sorry

I missed the sound-off this year. It was only because I saw GRFNUT walking around with a meter last year I knew anything about it. I don't think the weather helped on either occasion though.
Do you reckon it might get more interest if it was a bit more formal?
I know we rely upon the goodwill and services of Dave 'GRFNUT' and Tez (thank you
) so it might make life easier for them and 'competitors' if we agreed a time slot of say two hours, an allocated space with a sign and maybe being videoed and/or recorded for posterity?
... or should I just go
myself?
