My windscreen got hit with a stone this morning and now has a lovely 12" crack in the bloody thing.
Cock.

rage

Now I am insured but I do also suspect that Autoglass probably wont have a CV8 screen in stock.
Best advice for them to get one as fast as possible would be very appreciated.

cheers

I was approx 14 days waiting on my replacement front screen when I lived in N Ireland, ended up being sourced from some company based in Manchester area to the best of my knowledge.

That's a point as it goes - anyone know if all Monaro screens are the same?

Well I'll be!

Sorted through insurance (via APlan incidently) & Autoglass in about 5mins flat.
They're coming in a couple of days (fitting the visit around my movements)

Bish bash bosh!

Lovely.

Bloomin hell Jez, you got stuffed by a 417hp Lexus. Did you fill up with diesel? I would have thought you'd go much quicker with 630hp ?

Erm... wet wet wet boys the outside line was not good, you can hear the racelogic popping in 2nd.

Also that ISF is just about the quickest accelerating thing I`ve seen in a while, no way was it stock it was its first official public outing and was piloted by Toyota(Lexus) guys.....it killed everything.

To put in in perspective when I braked I was doing 130 but had already backed off as it looked like the muppet was coming over from way back.

Had mine replaced last week - should have been the week before but Aplan booked it in as a Meriva.

Oh well, that was going too well to be true.

Guy turned up with a screen with the wrong shading band at the top. rolleyes
Probably not a biggy to some but I want it to be original - 'tis what I paid for after all.

Hey ho - they'll order a VX one now so whilst it'll probably be a while at least it'll be an OEM part.

Twas indeed, have no fear I was actually short shifting as well due to the lack of traction.
As you know the fun only really starts at the bottom corner.
