I Just wanted to vote Adrian Flux some brownie points. I had insured the ute with them for about £700. They wrote to me last week saying that they were crediting my card with a £64 rebate because they had been in touch with my last insurers and found out that I had in fact got 5 years no claims, not the 4 I had put down on the form.

A nice, unusual, and very welcome gesture in these grasping times.

They probably kept a £20 for themselves though...

That is indeed very unusual for an insurance company.smile I'm still waiting for my old insurance people to post me my proof of no claims, having just recently ventured into the world of Monaro ownership myself.

I've also had good experiences with them. I've insured some real oddball cars without the hassle ("I can't find that model on my screen") that you would get from a mainstream insurer. I seem to recall that we had our old VN Commodore SV5000 insured through AF a few years back.

They quoted me £800 & told me this morning I'd need to fit a Thatcham appoved immobiliser before they would insure me, so I renewed with APlan for £680.

That's funny it wasn't an issue with mine, although I am going to get one fitted anyway.
