Hello,

Popped out to my garden for my usual wander around my garden with the macro lens after work, and got this. I only took one shot (as it was chucking it down), but have to say I've never seen a rain drop inside another drop. Clicky for larger version if you like.

Just thought it was pretty cool silly

Cheers,

Neil.

off back out to see how waterproof the 40D is, back shortly!

Cheers Gary, I've tried/got all combos for the Canon, so if you have any questions just ask biggrin

What are you after?

I'd say it was an air bubble that was caught in the water droplet smile

Amazing photo...

The only lens I have with macro capability is my Sigma 70 - 300 and it really needs setting up on a tripod to achieve results so to get something like that remains a distant dream both equipment wise and talent wise!

Cheers Dai Capp wink Yeah, macro takes a bit of getting used to. I used to use the tripod, but to be honest it just gets in the way. Shooting hand-held with the 40D, MP-E65 and MT-24 flash needs patience, it weighs in at around 2 kilo's, not so easy to keep super steady when you are 4 inches max from the subject.

Thats a top picture! Perfect focus point. What's the best flash system you've used for macro on the Canon so far?

Thanks!

Mat, I've only really tried the 430EX with a stofen diffuser before getting the MT-24EX, so cannot comment on others. I have to say though that the mt-24 is stunning!
