Anyone got a spare donut?

I think I need another donut for my transmission by the sound of it!!! I'll be looking in detail tomorrow but I'm pretty sure its on the way out again..this will be the third one. anyone out there got one laying around? Oh, its for a Year 2000 HSV GTS (UK).

If you are talking about the rubber bit between trans and driveshaft the corvette ones are the same as a BMW!
So assuming GM uses the same stuff, the picture looked the same anyway as the holden one, then you might be able to go to a BMW spares place and get one of them. I think they are all make in Deutchland anyway.

Maybe take yours along to a BMW parts dealer and see what they say.

Just had mine changed a couple of days ago by the guys at Monkfish. They keep them in stock. If you're handy enough to DIY then you could ask them to supply only?

Make sure that it is installed the correct way. Another owner had one put in the wrong way and it wore quickly.

Good news for me is that it isn't the donut.. Only wear I can find is on the front anti roll bar d bushes..I'll change these and see what happens. Thanks for the inputs.

now replaced anti-roll bar bushes with poly ones but need a new pair of drop links as threads got damaged due to excessive movement when bushes failed. Anyone got a spare set laying around?
