I dont believe it, having some work done on the rear end and the lights are rusted in, so the garage drilled them out. I read sometime ago a question about rear lights. what car does the light cluster come from? the lens are ok but the back plate has had its bolts knackered. 1982 tasmin 200.

The lights are a Ford item off the Capri. You should be able to get some new ones. I would start looking at the Ford Capri owners club for a list of suppliers. Hope that helps.

Wasn't there a firm called "new ford parts" or simular. Specialised in older ford parts. I bought some rear lights for the Vixen once. Old cortina ones.

If you'd be happy with second hand ones try Martin at capri gear :

www.caprigear.co.uk/

He breaks capri's for a living and always has loads of stock.

Degz,
If you haven't got a pair yet I have some from a 280 FHC - say £15 the pair - e mail me if wanted. I can be in Hereford, Worcester, Leamington or Essex during the week so we could meet up or could mail them at a price.

You could also try Tick Over somewhere down in darkest Essex: they are Capri specialists. I got a replacement coolant header tank from them for £15 a while back.
