Looking for new chainset.

Head says Ultegra for £60, heart says Dura-Ace for £150.

So, would you buy a Dura-Ace chainset for £90, just because it was there?

I'm shallow and a complete bike tart, so yes (if I could afford it).

If you have the spare cash and want the Dura Ace then go for it, but if it's a close call it's certainly not 3 times as good as Ultegra.

My bike is all Ultegra and I love it, no need for me to change really...would be better off losing a few pounds!

You could always get the 7800 Dura Ace, as there will be bargains to be had now that the 7900 has been launched.

Or is that price for the 7800? (I haven't checked prices for 7900 yet)

Cheers guys - it's good to be among friends.

George - YHM. That 30 secs will be a minute by the time you add-in the benefit of the carbon brake levers I've just put on...

Go retro and get a Shimano 600 groupset.

I like retro, but 'retro', 'carbon' and 'aero' won't go together in the same sentence for a few years yet.
