Looks like I'll be in Chicago either side of the Indianapolis GP weekend, so I'd like to head south. Can anyone give me tips on going to the race.
What's the best way to buy tickets? Goodish, cheapish hotels nearby, best way to get to the circuit.

If you're looking for a hotel you'll be very lucky to find one in Indy - the best we got was the Holiday Inn in Fort Wayne.

Organisation at Indy is first class, parking is excellent and the stadium is superb - it really is worth going.
