Weekend trip to France
Discussion
Guys
Planning the above. First step is Calais to Reims by Saturday lunch. Then open to suggestions. Preferably some good driving roads followed by reasonable accom. then drive home Sunday via somewhere interesting.
I was thinking maybe heading across to Nancy after Reims and staying there.
Any suggestions?

Troyes is a nice place to stay.
Apart from that your question is quite 'broad' - I've only ever stayed in that part of France on my way back from the Alps/Italy etc, so I can't recommend any specific roads - they'll all seem nice after the South-east of England .
ETA what do you mean by 'somewhere interesting on the way back'? The War Graves in northern France are quite frankly stunning. For instance here are a few photos of Vimy Ridge which we visited in June.
