hi all...
im in the process of trying to sell my holden ss commodore 5.7, its been on here a few times without a single person ringing me, even though i only want 6500 for it.. its the black one.. a few honest comments would be appreciated. many thanks

1. Nobody knows what the car is, and those who do would rather have a proper HSV or a Monaro, I suspect. That's what I went for when I was looking.

2. Your advert is, frankly, not that good. It just screams CHEAP, but doesn't talk about what the history of the car is, what mods it has or hasn't got, or anything else. You also need more and better photos. If you want to sell it, present it properly.

I almost bought that very car a few years back, and the price discussed at the time wasn't much higher than you're asking now. With the credit crunch, fuel prices, and a few more years of the car aging, I just think it needs to be cheaper than it is at the moment to sell, but presenting it better might help get some punters in the door to start with.
