I'm guessing you were expecting this post to tell you how much we've raised for this years charity - well you'd be wrong 'cos I haven't finished yet!!

As you know the charity for 2008 is the Fire Brigade's Victims of Fire Charity. Especially poignant given the Growl location - 4 firefighters local to Ettington lost their lives fighting a warehouse fire last November.

You all did a fantastic job over the weekend either by donating prizes for others to bid for or for bidding on those items. I have to say that I for one love my new t-shirt - despite the fact it cost me £42 in the end (thanks to Del... shoot). So a big THANK YOU to everyone that's helped raise money so far.

However, I'm not done yet!

You may recall that I was offering some vinyl window stickers in return for a donation to the charity (no less than £1 per sticker). Many of you took up the offer but sadly I missed many of you (mainly as I had to wait until Sunday to get some dry weather and be able to do it properly).

There are some left which I'm happy to post out to people in return for a donation to the charity funds...

Sharon, a fellow Griff owner, very kindly made the vinyls for us when she was working on the rest of the merchandising for the Growl. Perhaps yoy could post up a pic so people know what I'm talking about.

They are this season's MUST HAVE accessory and it's all for a very good cause. If you'd like one please email me and I'll let you know where to send your cheque to - once I get the cheque I'll send out the stickers.

They're made of vinyl and have NO STICKY STUFF on them so they won't make a mess - they're easy to stick on and peel off over and over again - hours of fun.

Come on you know you want/need one!

Let's see if we can get that charity figure up a wee bit more...

Cheers,
MrsFFG x

Come on you guys, we're just short of £1k for the charity and it would be great to give it a bit of a boost.

There's only a few of these window vinyl's left so please drop me a line to make sure you secure one.

Cheers,
MrsFFG
