My boyfriend loves Mysterious Cities of Gold, I think there's a boxset of it out now (he was definitely raving about one coming out), says it's the first anime he ever saw.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, or was that early 90's?

Button Moon! Not a cartoon but still awesome biggrin

Probably Battle of the planets for me. Only recently found out the episodes were comletely re-written from Gatchman, Keyop's speech impediment was to cover up his original swearing biggrin.

When was the last time you watched it? I remember thinking it was brilliant. A friend then bought me the entire series on DVD as a surprise. Despite my best intentions being as it was a gift and all, I couldn't sit through a single episode.

mate of mine had a few episodes on vhs at uni, so 5yrs ago? agree its hard to sit through now, but then thats the same with all these series' though. i reckon even kids today would tire pretty easily of it, despite it being one of very few programs i absolutely had to watch as a child.

i was going to buy the dvd but after getting 80 days around the world i thought it was pointless. theme tune is still top drawer mind

The fraggles were a bit ghay but the Dozzers and the monsters in the garden were cool.

Chorlton and the Wheelies is by far my absolute favourite 80's cartoon! People never usually remember this but me and my brother used to be glued to the telly.
