Which model to have ...

It's definitely a 3 series but which one (has to be new and will be post September model)?
- 335i M Sport saloon with no toys at all
- 335i SE saloon with a few toys
- 330i M Sport saloon with a few toys
- 330i M Sport coupe with a few toys
All views welcome???

My first instinct is always to go for the biggest available engine but the 330 is a lovely bit of kit. Are you bothered about emmissions/resale etc ? If yes then take a 330 with kit. There's no bad choice to be made here really so dont sweat over it !!

I'd have the 330i M Sport in whatever shape takes your fancy. It would absolutely have to be an M Sport and frankly if 272bhp isnt enough for you then you wouldn't be asking this question.

330i manual with leather, idrive, bluetooth, usb and logic7 would be my choice.

If you want an auto then I would stump up for a 335i, but not without those options. In manual form though I would take the 330i over the 335i regardless of price.

The coupe gets the new idrive (if you order nav) and minor interior changes.

Seen a nice young blonde driving an 07 reg BMW 535d M Sport in Reading this morning she couldnt have been older than what 27... she certainly has good taste. Also spotted a similar age lady with the Mk5 Golf R32 in business attire. Very appealing.

If you want an auto, get the 335i saloon (either SE or MSport), if you want a manual then get a 330i MSport coupé. I'd get the latter personally

IMHO the power delivery of the x35i suits an auto, whilst the power delivery of the x30i suits a manual better...

My 330d M Sport manual face lift is coming next month .

Why not a diesel? This car delivers 245bhp and goes 0-62mph in 6.1 secs, has superb fuel economy and has tons of torque for effortless cruising and is speed limited to 155mph and still only gives out 152g/km so the road tax is £145.
