e36 wheels

hi guys, just looking for some advice on wheels for my e36 coupe. iv found a nice set of e46 wheels, with 9j rears with 255 tyres. does anyone know if this is too big to fit.? the seller says is isnt. ive got m3 wheels on at the mo with 235 tyres, and i think they should be 8.5j. these run fine, just wondered if anyone knows about this.

shouldnt be a problem.
ive got a set of 18" Alpinas (which im selling btw) for e36/46 and the rears on those are 9j with 255/35 fitted. They came off an E46 and went straight onto a lightly lowered e36 with no worries.
