Hi everyone

After seeing inlets on a Pagani Zonda all polished up, I decided to have a go at polishing up a spare set of 4.2 inlets I had lying around. Here's the results, what do you think?

they look fantastic, only problem is keeping them from going all milky white with oxidisation! can you coat them with some kind of heat resistant laquer?

That is the best Cerbera engine bay I have seen yet. Top work chap.
I assume you had a polishing company carry out all the work? May I ask how much? You can mail me offline if you like smile

Love it. Excellent work. Are they coated to keep from oxidizing? This is when a 4.2 engine bay can look better than a 4.5!!!!

Hi just logged on again.

Thanks for all your comments and to answer some of your questions. They are just polished not chromed, clear laquer to stop them oxidising and Harry while polishing I did port them and thin the spindels and butterflys, hopefully gain those extra 10-15 horses thumbup.

So they must be worth 35 ported and polished then hehe.

Seriously good news to see you took care of the insides too, have you had them flow balanced since confused

I haven't had them flow balanced yet, I thought I would put them on and see how it would run first. It does seem to be pretty smooth but I will check them at the weekend while the car is running to get exact readings.

Harry now you know how to get your beast up to 470bhp just polish the outside of yourshehe I take it you are still running yours with 4.2 inlets
