wot does it do? sensor on manifold

when looking around my 2.5 gto, i see there it a sensor on the inlet manifold that is not connected and has no connector on it, it sits just to the right of the throttle, any ideas is it meant to be connected?

i think you are talking about the boost solenoid

it could also be the idle adjustment when the air con is on

have you got a pic of it ?

Yeah I agree Mike.

If its close to the coil pack then its the idle control valve thats not used. Some have it on and others don't.

It may well be wired in but its still not used.
