Any one recommend a good re-chroming company - the quarter bumpers are just starting to show signs of rust coming through.

If you want the best possible quality then you need Derby Plating. They were recommended to us by the Aston Martin restorers in Otley and did a fabulous job on all the parts for the Singer. Needless to say, they weren't cheap. Overall it depends how long you intend keeping the car and whether you would want to do it again in a few years time.

Wouldn't part with the car - it was a wedding present. I'd always go for quality work - it always works out cheaper in the long run.

I had all my plating done at NIPHOS plating in Crewe Cheshire.
Sorry haven't got the number , but it should be on the net.Apparently used to do plating for old Rolls Royce and Jaguar? Reasonably priced too.
