Calling that a house is like calling a Veyron a grocery getter.

Why the rolleyes ?

Market dictates the price.

If you've got it, flaunt it.

Must be tough being an oligarch.

You're the only one that can afford it.

As soon as you move in, your prescence destroys the property prices around you.

£500 million euros eh?

There must be a new 'Euro-Pound' currency that I haven't heard of. hehe

Anyway, that is stupid money for a house but if they can afford it, good luck to them. smile

That money could do an immense amount of good. However, If that house makes them happy, then I am glad for them.

I know the house from when I worked down there, it's not that impressive and there far nicer ones around there. The other nice news is that Abramovich was turned away from an Italian restaurant as the owner said 'we don't want your sort here'. See, there are some people who cannot be bought.

Later the restaurant owner could not be found for comment, however, an unnamed source said 'he was away learning how to swim'.

Now you know where your 35% higher gas bill money goes...

Mind you Dubai would be only sand dunes and a few tents if it wasn't for the oil.

What he doesn't want customers? clever businessman.

If ambrmovich wanted he would put him out of business if it really bothered him. But I'm sure he didn't care.

abramovic wasnt turned away because his sort wasnt wanted, he walked up to a full restaurant without a booking and asked for a table.

they told him they were full, and werent going to throw anyone out just to seat him and his party.

so abramovic got in a huff and sailed off on his yacht.
