Can't quite tell where the motorbike is, but he should be done for either parking it on the double yellow or the pavement

So, he'd seen the sign in winter, and they're complaining that he remembered it in summer!?

If memory, and dare I say it "observation" are now frowned upon, that would imply that the speed limit is 30 mph whenever a driver cannot directly see a sign to the contrary - having passed a sign and *remembered* it would appear not to count...
