My neighbour's gf picked up her car after being under a birds nest for a few weeks & he washed it for her - with brillo pad & flash. She is furious "I've had my car 4 hours and you've <expletive deleted> it!". It's only a £1600 Renault Clio in metallic blue but the entire car is scratched to bits, through the lacquer in places. I've given him some Turtle Wax 'Metallic' to try and smooth out the smaller swirls (and maybe sleep on the couch tonight instead of the rose bushes), but it needs some serious retrieval. Any ideas welcome as his next stop is an industrial tub of T-Cut...

Ouch. I think it's going to require the attention of a paint specialist, TBH.

Why not ping VXRMarc a line and see if he'll do it as a 'showcase' or project..? laugh

Thanks Robbie, I've passed on your details so hopefully he'll contact you. The wax has helped (at least the car's not matt finish now!) but get closer than a few feet and you can see the scratches.
