Dahon Matrix folding mountain bike

Anyone have one of these bikes and got any comments about it?
From the spec it looks interesting, but always a little concerned
about the rigidity of the bike.

Would you take a mountain bike frame, chop it in half, then put a hinge in the middle?

We've ordered these in for people at work. They are NOT a good idea, after a few months its like riding one of the 'snake boards', you know like a skateboard where the front and rear trucks are diconnected. Stiff as a soggy noodle, and not really any smaller then a regulare MTB with the wheels off and the bars turned.
