New 450d, need advice on RAW in CS2...

I was quite lucky recently and won a photo competition in a national paper. It was a nice suprise to win and an even nicer suprise that I was getting an upgrade from my Nikon d40 to a Canon 450d. So theres the background.

My problem at the moment is that I cannot open my canon raw shots in PS CS2. Nikon Raw open grand. So what should I download and where should i get it from?

do a search on google for canon raw and cs2 there is an update/plug in

though and I bang on about this an awful lot, use digital photo professional for your raw conversion, its free, it ships with the software from canon (just update it) and its all you need for any raw processing

You may well find that there isn't a CS2 ACR (Adobe Camera RAW) update for the 450D as CS3 was out before the camera was released.


You'll be better off with a Stand-alone converter anyway, and as said above Canon bundle one with the camera.
