I have a bmw with sat nav Can any one tell me can i get speed camera alerts down loaded onto it any way ????? thanks

re- mapped ??? bmw system comes with a cd rom disc i got 2007 edition have the later ones come with camera alert or is there a way put camera warning on system any1 know ?

Can you confirm that what you bought there worked without any issues? Which system did you use it for?

If one does not like this product, is it possible to go back to the original equipment system?

Yes all worked fine,i got the latest 2008-2 map + software upgrade for £25.the new map featues speed camera locations and postcode input,pretty neat stuff/

Does the postcode input have the full postcode capability? I bought the 2008-1 DVD only last month and only has 5 character input for postcodes. I have heard there are hacks that can do full postcode input. Can anyone advise me on this?

+2. I would like to know too. These BMW satnavs are hopeless compared to the RTI version I had on my previous car (volvo system).

I have never tried the RTI version in a Volvo but it must wipe iron your shirt you and make you a cup of tea if it is so much better than the BMW pro nav system

Spot on. You are right.

And on top of all that, it easily allows me to add more inbetween destinations before the final one. Try that in the BMW (without online access).
