Overheating - again!

Hi...

Looks like my T350 is overheating again. Dreadnought replaced the water sensor a few Months back and car was fine (although water temp sat at 100 degrees in town/traffic), now temp is hitting 106 degrees and the fans are clicking in. What's strange, both fans come on at the same time (been like this since car came back from Dreadnought), I thought nearside at low 90s and other at high 90s??

I have bought another x2 sensors (water temp for ECU and the other for display), will get motor booked into Dreadnought and have them replaced.

I was going to ask Dreadnought or someone else to wire in an over-ride switch so I can flick fans on when I want and for as long as required, anyone done this? If so, where and how is the best method?

One more question - since owning the car I have never needed to top up on oil, however, during the summer the oil temp gets into the 90s and I needed to put in almost 1 litre yesterday, oil was close to minimum. There's no leaks etc, am assuming the car is burning some oil with high temps, anything to worry about?

Are you sure the mix is 50/50 water/anti-freeze?

Yeah, 50:50 with the mix :-(

I spoke with Dreadnought today, they are going to check it over and make sure it's sorted (inc over ride switch), was told the coolant sensor can be as much as 10 degrees variance.
