Hi All,

I am trying to get a hold of a Parts Listing for 88 Esprit Turbo. Does anyone have one that I could buy or borrow for a few days? I am building a list of cross-reference parts (in addition to the one listed on EFF) and I will be happy to post it here when it is complete. I have a friend who works in an auto-parts shop who is willing to spend his spare time checking and comparing all sorts of parts, think we may have found the waterpump already (Ford). That is $700 new from Lotus or $80 new from a Ford parts store. Worth the effort? I think so.

Please let me know if you can help,

Mark

Sent ya an email, Az. Also, I have a few numbers from my own research that I would be happy to add. Such as the window motors from certain Jags are a drop in fit. Bought me one on eBay for $1 plus shipping. Hell of a lot cheaper than getting mine "rebuilt" in Florida for two and a half bills.

Thanks Doc, got your email.

If anyone else has any contributions to add (other than that posted on the EFF) then please feel free to email me or post. When I get the document done I'll PDF it and put it out there for all to download.

Hey, I found one by accident last night when a Lotus hose cracked and sent engine coolant steam into the air...

Lotus part# A912E1837F Elbow Hose, Cylinder Head to Water Pump (do not know the cost - sorry)

can be replaced by:

Austin Healey/MG (Victoria British) part# 2-683 Hose Valve to Heater $5.95

...I had the AH part in the garage and gave it a try! Got lucky...
Drive topless!
