I am trying to put photo's on my advert, however once it was initially put up it won't let me replace image number 1 despite upoading different pictures. However overnight it did change to a different picture that is again stuck in the image 1 slot.

Also I have had a call already, so I know someone has viewed the ad but the counter at the bottom of the page reads 0 viewings.

And first time I click on manage ads it comes up with an error message saying that the page doesn't exist or has changed name. Then only option is to return to the home page. Usually works second time round.

The images cache in your browser and therefore it might be worth pressing CTRL and F5 on the page once uploaded to force the computer to display the updated images. We are working on this end to stop the computer cacheing any changed image. In the advert itself it can take upto 1 hour before any edit (text or pictures) to take effect.

The view counter is currently turned off for private ads and should not show, so we will look into this.

What is the process you do to create this as we have had a few people mention this over the weekend. Do you go to pistonheads homepage, then click on classifieds, then click on manage my ads and it comes up with the error? Or something else?

Hi thanks for that. I either go straight to classified and then to MMAs, or from homepage to classified then MMAs. Error message comes up first time both times.

What is the URL in the address bar when this happens?

Sorry for all the questions but can't replicate the problem here so trying to narrow it down.

Interesting... it is the capital SALES that is causing the problem, though I am not sure where that is coming from so will have a search tomorrow.
