URGENT HELP NEEDED Alternator

OK guys just got an emergency call from a fellow PH'er.

Appears he's got alternator problems, SO what aletnator fits on the MK1 Tuscan?

Appears that it was the 100 amp fuse, funnily enough I gave him my set of Tuscan spares yesterday along with 100amp fuse.

So he should be on his way shortly.

I had to change my 100A fuse last week - the voltage readings were erratic to say the least. Thought I'd have a quick butchers.

Fuse was obviously fractured, but was sort of making enough contact to semi-charge the battery and generate enough heat to partially melt the fuse holder on one side.

After cleaning everything up and changing for an uprated fuse - Bob's your uncle and 13.9/14.0 volts bang on.

Funny the sense of achievement it gives you - with the original fault you start thinking - "is it the alternator?"..."is it a dodgy earth somewhere?"..."what if somethings wrong with the pod display?"..."I bet this is something serious!".

Thank god for Occam's Razor!

Thanks someone will end up with cherished motor, it's just a matter of who?

I must be realistic I just didn't use her last year, same bills regardless of how often I take her out.
