It's in danger of becoming the motor racing equivalent of WWF wrestling IMO.
Some of it - cars driving half on the grass all the way up the pit straight, doorhandle-banging, side-by-side nudging - is fine.
But there's these concepts called "fair play" and "racing room" that are alien to BTCC drivers and it's a real shame, not only cos its enjoyable to watch truly skilful close racing, but also cos half the field ends up in the pits or the barriers before the chequered flag, and I can't see how that can be a good thing.
Tthere comes a point in every half-baked overtaking move when the overtaker should accept he's not managed it this time, regroup and try again at the next oppportunity, not keep his toe in and put the guy in front sideways, onto the grass or into the gravel...

Another thing. The Ginettas are proper entertainment.
Yes there's some accidents but most of them aren't dirty and will concede a corner. Often they're only behind for a few metres!
It's good racing with lots of action and clean moves. I could watch it all day. It's certainly never dull.
BTCC in comparison is pantomime / bumper cars, right through the field.

Agree with the Onslow-Cole comments - deliberate move into the side of Plato & hopefully he'll be punished.
The move on Tim Harvey in the Porsche race (can't remember who else was involved) heading up the main straight was a bit out of order too. Looked like a deliberate attempt to shove him onto the grass.

Tim Bridgeman. Thought that was well naughty but can't find anything about sanctions.
