3000M roll cage

Any one fitted a roll cage to a 3000M?

Yes

I got Martin Short at RollCentre to do a full cage for me. It's very nice, has door bars and a bar below the screen to attach the steering column to. Also has harness mounts in the uprights.

It took him a few weeks to do and he needed the car - they're all a bit different. Cost was about £800+vat as I recall, but I didn't begrudge the price for a minute - you never know when you might need it!

I had a safety devices back cage in mine - was a LONG time ago - GARTRAC near Guildfors do fantastic work,
(in TR4 and 6 racers - full cages- will make any thing) + Rollcentre one in my Chim500.

We had one built last year, its just a hoop with two bracing struts bolted to the chassis, simple but effective and very easy to design.

The biggest problem was welding the mounting blocks to the chassis.
