Hi all,

There has been a bit of discussion in a few threads about having a PH meet for the East Yorkshire crowd. Various locations were discussed but we have initially settled on the Triton Inn, Brantingham, HU15 1QE (Just off the A63, A1034 Exit)

It is easy to get to, has sufficient parking, cold beer (for passengers wink) and is a good location for a possible little run over to Kirkella for another drink and chat.

This is just a trial date and can be changed if necessary for future meets, and I obviously don't want it to clash with the main Yorkshire meet held over in Leeds. Hopefully this meet will encourage more people to come and introduce themselves from the local area!

I'll be there from about 6:45pm but if we say 7pm start that should be okay, especially as light is tending to fade earlier now.

Everyone is welcome of course, not just local people and don't worry if you just want to drop in and say hi, or stay for a while! smile

See you all Wednesday!

Cheers
Tom

PS: wiz, if you fancy coming along, just let me know and I can pick you up from Nellies on my way there thumbup

Tom,
My dad's back in hospital again at the moment and he's really not doing too good, but if things are no worse than right now, then Becks and I will try and come along in the Camaro, although its rather short of a tailpipe at present! If not, you can take it as read that we will do our best to support any East Yorkshire meet in the future.

Shame that, I fly to Shanghai on Wednesday morning frown

Took the Ferrari out on Friday with my mate and we had a look at the Beech Tree. Nice enough pub with a good outside seating area, was a bit quiet for a Friday night though.

Heres hoping for a speedy recovery mate. It would be good to see you there but only if the circumstances are okay! Thanks for the support for future events also.

When it gets up and running, please try to avoid the same week as "second Monday and second Tuesday" of the month. That is when the other two pub meets are on and, I can get away with two in a month, but two in a week may be seen as taking the p!ss somewhat smile

Bloody typical ... you don't even need the car either and can have as much beer as you like!

By the way, I passed your house on Saturday afternoon, had great fun all the way down Brantingham Dale ... great acoustics for the pops and bangs biggrin

I don't have much luck with this organising lark do I? hehe

I'll put up some dates after tomorrow for next month and see what is best for people.

Enjoy your holidays Rocket and Stu, and sorry Simon frown Is it every Wednesday you can't make or just this week in particular?

I'll see the people that can make it tomorrow night, lets hope the weather holds out.

Very kind of you Tom. Thank you. Just off out the door now. And, to everyone else who can't make it, what Tom said.

Sorry Tom, it’s every Wednesday, I go and see my parents and don’t want to mess their routine about, any other of the 6 nights a week is fair game and the odd one may clash now and again but that not a problem.

Taken note mate, I'll make sure it's not a Wednesday. I was thinking 'Third Thursday' as its quite memorable and avoids the other Yorkshire meets?

Local small brewery (Sam Smiths) owned pub back in Beverley, gas lights n all. Very good for the long winter nights with it's coal fires. We won't be rushing off there, well I won't at least. I'm hoping for some people to turn up at the Triton smile and I'll be waiting until 9 ish to give people a chance anyway.

Cheers
Tom
