The real Five Star car is currently for sale north of the border..........as opposed to one south of the border which claims to be the Five Start Car...allegedly......

I saw this car a couple of years ago and I have to say it is lovely........it just wasn't for sale when I saw it!cloud9

I could have called myself "Bluewing!"........not quite the same.....

It's just quite a well known car......being owned by some ropey 80's pop group called "Five Star". It sat outside their Essex mansion an was repeated photographed by the NOTW and the Sun. I'm sure there's alot more known about the car but you'll need someone older than me to fill you in(Ahem). DP are you about?

That looks like it's up at Carlo's alright!

There do seem to be 2 cars whcih purport to be the "Five Star Car"

If Carlo is selling it as such, then it DEFINITELY IS it...

There is also a theory which suggests that they might both indeed have been owned by different members of Five Star!

I did briefly see a blue Countach very similar to this when I was up there... It looked awesome!

It was a real wrench not to go for a Countach as it was my childhood-dream-car but the extra power of the Diablo won in the end!

(After all.. I get my "uber-wedge" fix from my Esprit biggrin )

Except their mansion was down the road from me near Bagshot!!

(Of course they could have had more then one before losing it all!!)

Was at Carlo's picking up my car earlier today and can confirm it is indeed a very nice looking motor.

been 'off duty' today - Dad's had another stroke yesterday...

1. That's the real 5* car @ TopGear...

2. The 'other' one just looks the same but is quite ropey close to... or so I'm told by those who went to see it...

3. Dear Mr. Wing, (Red)... I'm actually a very yut'-full chap don't y' know...

4. zero sleep since Sunday morning, g'night y'all
