Cargiant just buy from trade or auction, quickly look over the car and sell it on with a flat fee of £1000.
You get what you get, I would not necessarily buy a car that is 3 years old from them, but buying a year old one with warranty is pretty good, and in this day and age I bet most of them are cheaper than private sales.

I assume any of you lot in the market for one of these will pick it up it still have what 18 months BMW warranty remaining - anyone worried about it should ignore it but for me balance of warranty and Full BMW service history and low miles = a winner.
They pile em high and sell them cheap high turnover of cars and as OP says £1k profit on each car as a fee. There is no negotiation which is fine - still worth a try but anyone not happy with the price should really think about maybe a 4 year old 520d M sport maybe that better suited to your budget.

Too much £ for me - cannot justify that much currently.Thought I'd pop it up here as many are looking/say they are looking for one well here is a great example.
Hmmmmmmmm funny that as i took my 535d 07 plate into a BMW dealer who said there give me £33,000 trade in value for my car and they had 535d with 35,000 miles same kind of spec up at £35,995 ???? think BMW should know there prices . The price can vary alot with these cars as spec is all important cloth seats ?? etc

Thats bloody too cheap to be true....there is high chance that the car has been accident repaired and CAR GIANT are famous for selling cars that have nasty mysteries attached to them. My mate bought a 3 series from them and after buying it his BMW dealer confirmed that the rear passenger door was been accident repaired. Car Giant denied knowing about it as they said the car is ex-fleet and was sold as seen! Now many people contract hire cars and get them repaired before giveing them back to the hire company to avoid the penalties involved when handing the car back. Many of these repairs are carried out at the cheapest local garage available....
I'd stay away from this one to be honest as for me Car Giant is a definate NO NO!

What, a flat £1000 with no reference to their purchase price?So they'd add a grand whether they paid £5K or £25K? No chance.
I was on holiday a few years back and one of the guys in the hotel was one of the buyers/directors there. He said it worked as a taper system, everything up to £10k was £600 added, £20k was £800, £30k was £1000 etc.
Meant their prices were keen and the stock turned over quickly, said they would do 500 motors on their best weekends. I guess 500 x £600 is pretty good in anyones book.

Anyone not doing a HPI when buying a used car is frankly dumb, its preanuts to do and if its incorrect the HPI company pay you out for the incorrect data - its an insurance policy.I'd stay away from this one to be honest as for me Car Giant is a definate NO NO!

True, me mates car didnt look to bad to be honest but it was an accidental motor. Just remembered that he also told me about when he washed the car using a pressure washer all the alloy wheel refurb came off and he was left with a set of 4 alloy wheels which looked like they were refurbed by a 5 year old with a paint set
