Lotus Elise Brake Discs
Discussion
Hi All
Just bought some Yellow Stuff pads for my s1 Elise and I have decided that I might as well do the discs whilst I am there.
Can anyone recommend somewhere to get the discs from? I have been looking at the vented ones but I think that plain steel ones will do unless there is a big advantage to vented discs.
Are the discs bespoke to Lotus or are they from something else like a Rover etc.
Thanks for any help

I thought vented disks meant that there were vents through the middle between each face on the disk, they can still be plain. Pretty sure i found that out changing them on my escort years ago.
By vented i think you meaning drilled and grooved????>........ Apart from the fact that they looks better, yes i know i am a GJOB hehe but they disperse the heat better. I am going to (when i get round to it) put yellow stuff with the EBC Ultimax disks. Excellent prices can be found and not that much more than standard disks.
