Reading my Total Vauxhall today and there's a couple of things i wanted to know
Firstly on the rolling road results page theres a section on V8's. It says there's a "Linden Special" Monaro 440ci in HSV Drivers club. What is this please? While i'm on this page well done to Dave Brown who's Ro VXR came 1st
Secondly on the VXRONLINE @ Walkinshaw Performance page(which i have to say looked wicked) They mention a "Evoke VXR8" whats this also please? Everyone proberbly knows already but i never claimed to be clever. Mysty and BO55 amongst others were there looking great.
Do we get invites to these things or is it only certain people?

That Monaro was our manual normally aspirated demo car. We currently have a similarly specified auto, plus a very high specified supercharged manual car.

if you mean Dave with the red VXR at the Scottish rolling road day - he got rid of it shortly afterwards, he's currently in the market for a VXR8 and is swithering over waiting to get a LS3 version at a decent price or jump now at a LS2 he's been offered. Talking to him yesterday he was telling me he's now had 26 cars in 6 years including 2 Lotus Carltons, think they've got one of his cars as a featured car either next issue or the one after - he was talking about the photo shoot. He likes to stick badges on his cars - had a fair few VXR ones on his Monaro, not my cup of tea but whatever floats your boat as they say.
