As per title really.

I'll give us a start.

Niagara falls would be at the top of my list.

Absolutely breathtaking place IMO!

And this, The Naxos Gate in Greece.

Legend has it, this is all that remains of the Temple of Apollo, which when the Turkish invaded the island they stole from the Greeks, but with it being so large and heavy they were forced to leave this big "gate" and it now looks over the island guarding it's residents.

So, over to you lot!

Repost apologies, yada yada yada..

Wasn't that amazed by Niagra Falls TBH, although it was a cold, grey November day and I was there with a bloke from work rather than my beloved OH biggrin

I'd recommend Vancouver though, just loved the atmosphere there.

You might see a theme here... basically most of that part of America followed by ragging the arse off a supercar in Vegas hehe

Slightly oddball one from me:

Not just the Iron Bridge itself, but the surrounding areas - surely the birthplace of the industrial revolution and therefore the 'genesis point' of all the modern processes we take for granted is worth a spot in the top 50?

I'm off for two weeks at the beginning of October (second visit). It's the perfect place for the classic view of what a tropical beach should look like.

ETA other places for the list:

Zermatt - for the views of the Matterhorn

One of the really good mountain passes in Switzerland in spring for the drive - the Julier up to St Moritz or the road up to Davos.

The cellars of a top burgundy grower in the Cote d'Or followed by dinner at Lameloise.

Yep - that's the one I would go for too, though Monument Valley is also fantastic.
