Morning all, just got in the car this morning and it didnt feel right, got out, to find I have a flat near side rear.
Does anyone have the names of the companies that come out to replace/repair tyres ? Do these companies repair, or just replace for that matter.

Speedy help required. Thanks

Mytyres.co.uk do come out but not sure if they do same day and that will be to replace - best bet might be to whip the wheel off and take it somewhere if you can. If you're at work, and I'll probably get shouted down here, borrow a scissor jack and wheelbrace from another car (be very careful!) and rest the car on a box of photocopier paper while you take the wheel somewhere to get the tyre fixed.

Ok, so now the fun starts.
Need a Low entry trolley jack. First question is how low does it need to be able to go under a standard 111R.
2nd Q is, where can I get a jack today, the cheaper the better

If you want to invest in a decent lightweight low entry jack you can pick one up in Machine Mart on Bournemouth Road for around 90 quid. You could also try one of the low entry jacks that Screwfix etc do.

beachbum, I've got a standard jack which JUST fitted when on flat ground, if it's slightly uneven then roll the car up onto a couple of bits of wood (skirting board / ply or similar) to just raise it a little more. Happy to lend you my jack tonight if you can't get anything sorted.

I've got a bog standard Halfords jack for <£30. It pisses under my S1. Are S2s any lower?

Would recommend Event Mobile tyres, very pleased last time I used them. Cheapest and came to work to fit them.

Well a 130mm trolley jack, does not fit under an Elise with a flat tyre. Now have to try it all again tomorrow

Drive it up on a piece of wood or if it fits under the side without the puncture, try inflating the tyre (assuming it's only a slow puncture!! smile)

Thanks for the offer, the wood option is the next attempt. Took a look on the Argos site and they didnt have one that went low enough either.

I have a low entry jack and it WILL NOT go under my liz with a puncture (unaided). My suspension is lowered though.

Get one of the kid to push the jack, Just lift the car and get him to slide the jack in. I did it single handed. It is not heavy and there is only a few mm in it.

Hi Beachbum - Marcus & I have a low rise trolley jack from machine mart - it's the Clarke 'Racing' jack - works a treat under the S1.

If you're still stuck give me a call - my numbers is on the Boloc list smile

As ever thanks to everyone for their offers of Jacks and general advice. Managed to get the wheel off last night with the help of a 50mm piece of wood.
All sorted and I am at last mobile again.

Thanks again
