Some part of me thinks this isn't true, that a media we such as Goody would do anything for public sympathy, or blow it out of all proportion. i.e. it's a benign growth.

Probably write another book on it when she recovers.

To be honest, whatever you think of her - I wouldn't wish that on anyone.

I heard this on the radio this morning. She was told in the big brother house in India - poor decision by the TV company if you ask me. I dont really like the woman but I wouldn't wish cancer on my worst enemy, I hope she gets the treatment she needs and recovers well.

Indeed it seemed very harsh telling her on TV. Hope she recovers well though, must be awful to be put through that.

Damn straight. She's an obnoxious twit but I hope she recovers quickly and gets an all clear as soon as possible. The phrase "serious like cancer" came about for a reason.

Having lost my partner to cancer last year I wouldn't wish this on my worst enemy.

Despite what anyone thinks of her she is still a young woman and a mother of two...

.....and you don't think perhaps she might have known for some time and that Mr Clifford suggested that having it announced on BB live might not be bad for her public profile?

I look forward to the tabloid serialisation of "Jade Goodie my battle with Cancer", I suspect the ghost writer has already been hired.

Something wrong with this story. Cancer of the womb is a disease of old, and specifically post-menopausal women. Pretty unusual to diagnose it in a young pre-menopausal woman.
Unless they mean CERVICAL cancer, however this is usually diagnosed clinically on colposcopy, after an abnormal cervical smear. In which case, it would have been fairly obvious at the time of the tests and she would never have been allowed to go to India without treatment.
I suspect that she may have been given the results of her smear test which often take 6 weeks to be returned. In this case it is likely that she has been diagnosed with cervical dysplasia, not cancer, and would need further tests.

I think there is more on this story to come, but my thoughts at the moment are that someone has jumped the gun with the "cancer" diagnosis...

I think she had many "scares" over the last few years in reguards her health so possibly she when hoping it was another one..

If she's had these scares I thought have thought they would have picked up on it sooner - quite possibly its early stage, which is 85%+ 5 year survival..

It is cervical cancer apparently, and has been confirmed.

There's a slim chance that somebody was actually reading out horoscopes in the diary room and she's got a little mixed up ?

I too would not wish cancer on anyone, however, I am completely indifferent to whatever this vacuous moron does or says or indeed has – there are much more worthy people out there who have cancer who deserve a thought or two, NOT this symbol/figurehead of all that’s wrong with brainless something for nothing celeb society.
