Anyone done it? What's it like? Likely living costs?

Been offered the possibility of a contract out there for a few months.

Accomodation not bad.

Drinking and food comparable to London prices really.

Depending how long you're there, you can get free Svensk lessons on the state.

Stockholm or the sticks?

It is very pleasant, people are very friendly and their English is perfect.

Alcohol is not the cheapest and you can only buy from approved stores during the day or in pubs / bars.

Women are very attractive on the whole, the police are pretty draconian on speeders.

Lovely country, I worked in Malmo, Helsingborg and Almhult over 18 months

Whereabouts in Sweden? Take your thermals if you're heading a long way north.

I lived and worked in Umeå for a year.
