find me a cheap holiday!

i really need a holiday. it has to be cheap though as i've had a lot of outlay recently.

had a look on various websites and the really cheap deals on 7nights are:

spanish costas - £150ish
algarve - from £135
malta - £150
rhodes - £165
turkey - £175

i guess i'm not the only one after a cheap deal so please post here if you see anything bargainous! not fussed about which uk airport its from.

7 nights preferred but 4/5 would suffice.

thought about a city break but the OH just wants to veg on the beach. malta or the algarve are winning for me so far.


any ideas feel free to share!

Try costing out a 1000 mile flight and staying at home for a week - it'll come to more than any of those prices you quoted!

no not cheaper, these are rock bottom as it is.

just alternative ideas or otherwise great deals. i.e. someone finds a week with 4* accom for under £200.

some were from this website from another thread on here - www.otbeach.com

others were from teletext holidays website, and a couple from tommy cook's. there is a fantastic website from a holiday company based in the peak district, but i can't find it!!! had a week in greece for £80 from them, and 2 weeks in jamaica for £350. hope they're still around......
