Any Franck Muller owners out there.....

As title suggests, have been toying with getting one for sometime but the thought of loosing all that cash on one has been one of the main reasons that i have held back. I have over a year or there abouts before my order comes through on another watch so i want something while i wait....
There is a FM that has caught my eye, new with a hefty discount. My question is are they easy enough to sell on, don't want to end up giving it away.

They appeal to a limited subset of watch geeks, and more (IME) to FX traders and suchlike. I personally love the complications but can't get on with the size of the current range. The old size fitted my wrist perfectly. There's an uncomplicated piece called the 'Chocolate' which is utterly lovely, but I've only seen it in the jumbo size. I don't know the RRP but my cousin (funnily enough, he does FX) bought a mint one second hand from Watchguru for around £5k which must be a hefty discount from the original price (given it's a big lump of rose gold) - I would buy it off him (he appears to be having trouble shifting it) but it's too damn big... if it was the smaller size then I'd be all over it.
So a bit of an acquired taste IMO. I thought all FM watches unspeakably vulgar until I saw my cousin's watch, and then tried the smaller sized watches and found that the 3-d curvature actually makes them less lairy and prominent on the wrist than expected. But the current Jumbo sized pieces are really in your face.
And, honestly, some of the complications are just crazy. He's even called one of them 'crazy' - I seriously couldn't use a Crazy Hours or Secret Hours to tell the time, at which point it just becomes ostentatious jewellery.
I think his ultra-complications are outstanding and would love to see the insides of one work... but none of those are practical for normal people to own (you need the finances of a Russian criminal and the wrists of a polar bear)
I personally wouldn't buy new but if you have to have it....

I like the FM watches and own them in Master Banker, Cazy Color Dream and a Crazy Hour style.
The Crazy Hour function is pretty cool and it is quick to understand. The minute hour works as normal (ignore the numbering) and the hour hand skips to the correct number when the minute hand passes the straight up (traditional 12oclock, FM 8oclock) position.
